Shortly after finishing the sound design and mix,, writer and director Ryan Shovey has posted the 3rd and final episode of 'Zeik's Bad Day' online.

Ryan Shovey is the owner of Freak Daddy Productions, an editing, FX, and graphics production house located in Orlando Florida.

'Zeik's Bad Day' tells the story of Zeik in his quest to win over the girl he loves, even after he is hit by a truck, dies, and returns with the zombie apocalypse.

Crooked Jack Sound would like to congratulate Aimee-Lee Curan, director of the film 'Awake', for winning the 'Future Filmmaker Award' at the International Film School Sydney.

The winner of the award receives a 2 year scholarship at the International Film School Sydney, valued at $42,000.

'Awake' constructs a dreamlike landscape of memories entangled in reality, and a past that bleeds into the present. Caught between two worlds and confused by recollections of the past, The Girl is haunted by the surreal presence of The Boy.  Struggling to accept him and the beauty they are bound by, The Girl must awake; and allow herself transformation.

This past weekend, 'The Lair' won two out of the four awards at the first annual Three Corpse Circus Horror Film Festival in Ann Arbor. The awards were for Best Scream and Best Kill.

'The Lair' was written and directed by Crooked Jack Sound's Ryan Cole. Shot in the Sierra Nevadas, it is about three camp counselors setting up a summer camp for the upcoming season. Little do they know they there is some thing else lurking in the woods.
