Ryan grew up in the Bay Area. Music, film, and family were all very important parts of his childhood. In 2003 he graduated from the Universeity of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Music and a certificate in Music Technology. Then, in 2005, Ryan went on to pursue a Master's in Music Technology at NYU. While finishing his degree, Ryan worked on several short films, features and documentaries, as well as studying other fields of audio technology including immersive audio and underwater recordings. Since then he has moved to Southern California and has worked on a variety of different projects, including Avatar, Date Night, Shrek Forever After, and several shorts for FunnyOrDie.com. He also recently wrote and directed a short film of his own, The Lair. |

Polly originally hails from Wellington, New Zealand where she established her sound career in the thriving local film industry. She studied Audio Engineering and Music Production at MAINZ, graduating in 1997, and from there took a 2-year internship at a local post production house. She has freelanced since 2000 as a dialog/ADR editor and supervising sound editor, contributing to the soundtracks of multiple feature films, and over 60 hours of television drama, working in both New Zealand and Australia. Her sound editing credits include the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "King Kong", "District 9" and "The Legend of the Guardians - the Owls of Gahoole". Polly won an MPSE Golden Reel award in 2009 for her work on "District 9" and has four other MPSE nominations. She has also won two NZ Film & Television awards, and been nominated for an Australian Screen Sound Guild award. |
